My Weekend; Episode I: Rock City

  • So, I'm writing a weekly (unless I had a boring week) blog on my weekend, simply because I wanted to tell y'all about it without clogging up the mainstream. Anyhoo, in today's episode of Alyson's Weekend, me and my friends were going to climb Rock City. If you don't know what that is, it's a place in Mount Diablo with a lot of rocks. If you don't know what that is, search it up. So, my friends were going to hike up a trail after 12:00 PM, but me, my brother and my mom were going to visit my great-great uncles grave because of a Chinese tradition. So, me and my friend climbed a bunch of rocks (duh) and found a cave thingy.

These pictures were taken later, because when my and my bro and mom said goodbye and were heading to the car, I stopped to go into the cave to take some pictures. The first and last one of of the tunnel to the Room of Doom, which is basically where people with claustrophobia almost give themselves a panic attack. I have claustrophobia so obviously, I shouldn't go to the tunnel to the Room of Doom. Needless to say, I disregarded by better judgement and went in. Three times. The second photo is one if you sit in the main room, and look out the window. The 3rd one is if you crouch in the Tunnel, and took a picture of it, that's what it would look like. (As you can tell, I'm really good at describing things and  not making an overly boring blog.) It was really cool, even thought you probably can't see it in the photos. We (Me, my brother and my mom, I was really getting tired of typing it over and over again) took a slight detour and saw this cool field that looked really pretty. That's the profile photo. (If I did it right) Then my aunt and uncle, cousin and grandparents came and we visited the graveyard. I didn't take any photos because I just didn't feel like it. After I had class and a splitting headache. And that's my weekend.
